Beeswax Wood Finish

When I started turning I used a combination of beeswax and mineral oil almost exclusively.

I have now branched out into other types of finishes including Wipe On Poly, Spray Lacquer, Minwax Old Fashion for my turned wood art, but when I do a bowl that is going to be used with salad or other cold foods I always fall back on old faithful.

I have found it delightful to apply by hand after turning a piece for a customer and when  I apply it to any of our wooden kitchen utensils.

I like using it so much that I have begun to market it in small 3 oz jars.

It is extremely easy to use, just dab a little on a finger and rub on the utensil. Not only does it do a good job of revitalizing the utensil but it smells wonderful and actually works to soften your hands at the same time.
